The Monarch Lodge is a ministry of The Refuge church in Ada, Oklahoma. Our accommodations are limited to Foursquare licensed ministers and their spouses to come for one week per year to focus on rest, renewal, and restoration of emotional and spiritual health.

About Monarch Lodge
Our facility is a 4,000 square foot house with 4 fully furnished suites, a beautiful kitchen and living area, with many more details to make your stay fulfilling. Your stay and our services at The Monarch Lodge come at no cost to you. Our property is 11 acres where you can walk, pray, fish, and enjoy nature. Ada is a small, quiet town with quaint coffee shops, great dining, local boutiques, and stores for your enjoyment.
Pastoral Guidance and Coaching appointments are available upon request. Sometimes we need an outside perspective of our situations in order to move forward. We want to assist you in these areas!

Monarch Lodge Mission
Monarch Lodge is the name that was thoughtfully selected for our spiritual renewal center. Two main ideas, which are unfolded below, explain the significance of the chosen name.
The name reflects our identity in God’s Kingdom. We are “For you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” (I Peter 2:9 NLT).
The name brings to mind the monarch butterfly and the total transformation that it undergoes to become what it was ultimately created to be. There is so much to glean from the butterfly’s life cycle. The eggs hatch into caterpillars that don’t do much more than eat in order to grow. Next the caterpillars find a place to attach themselves in order to spin the chrysalis. During the period in the chrysalis, the old body parts of the caterpillar undergo a remarkable transformation, called metamorphosis, to become the beautiful parts that make up the butterfly that will emerge.
We are God’s chosen treasures, part of a royal priesthood that is set apart to expand his kingdom. We all desire to develop in all he has created us to be so we can effectively participate in that expansion. Our development requires ongoing renewal and transformation, which Paul describes so well in Romans 12:2, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (NLT) It is our desire at the Monarch Lodge to provide a place for you to spend some focused time in God’s presence for rest, renewal, and/or study, as you seek to develop into all he has created you to be and do. We are also able to provide guidance and coaching if that would be of benefit to you during your stay.

- Questions with a red asterisk (*) are required to be answered prior to being able to move forward in the form.
- There are 3 pages of the request form. Once all required questions in each section are answered, the “Next” button will turn blue and you will be able to move to the next step of the request form.
- Our week stays typically run from Sunday to Friday or some portion of that time. If other arrangements are needed, please let us know when we call to finalize your scheduled stay. We would love to have you come and will do everything we can to accommodate your specific schedule. Check-in is Sunday afternoon/evening and Check-out will be at noon on Friday of the scheduled stay.
- Questions under the “Purpose of your visit” section are to help with scheduling your time at Monarch Lodge and with our team who is available to meet with you if you would like.
- If your spouse plans to join you during your stay at Monarch Lodge, please include their information so that we can accommodate them as well.
