What Is A Connect Group?

At The Refuge our small groups or home groups are called "Connect Groups".
A Connect Group is a small gathering of people who meet regularly to build relationships, study the Bible, pray, and support one another.

Small groups typically consist of 5-15 individuals who share common interests or demographics and meet in someone's home or at another meeting place such as a restaurant, work lunch or break area, etc.
The group may be led by a trained leader or simply be facilitated by a member of the group. The group may also be organized around a particular topic or study, such as a book of the Bible or a specific Christian teaching reviewed and approved by the Refuge Spiritual Leadership Team.

The primary purpose of small groups is to foster deeper connections and a sense of community within the larger church. This allows members to develop closer relationships with one another, share their struggles and joys, and grow in their faith together. Small groups also provide a space for members to ask questions, receive support, and hold each other accountable in their spiritual journey.
