The Refuge Kids is available for children ages 4 years through 5th Grade. The Refuge Kids provides an engaging, energetic, and evangelistic experience where kids can encounter the presence of God in a real and dynamic way while going deeper in the truths of the Word of God. Leaders will be trained through being involved in skits, teaching lessons, prayer ministry, worship, and technology. It has a two-fold mission:

1. To raise up children equipped in the truth of God’s word and who have experienced His presence. 
2. To train young leaders through active involvement and responsibility in the services each week.

Here's what to expect when visiting The Refuge Ada for the first time:

First, meet one of our friendly volunteers at the check-in area. We will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will provide information about where the Nursery is located and how our notification system works should your child need your assistance after drop-off.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

• Parent/guardian name(s)
• Child's name
• Child's birthdate
• Home address
• Phone number
• Email
• Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

Before Service: You can check-in your child at our computer-based check-in station. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to The Refuge Kids Building and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

Alicia pours her heart into this ministry and it shows by the fruit of what our kids learn each week, and the ways in which their characters are developing. She works with a great team of men and women who coordinate activities, Bible lessons, and fun things for kids to engage in learning and developing their walks with Jesus.
